The goal of this project was to create a tattoo reference sheet of 6 themed images. I chose an arthropod theme based on reference images (all taken by myself) of interesting and unique bugs, then transposed into relevant mockups using Adobe Photoshop.

As the capstone of my “Bug-Out” concept, I imagined what my illustrations would look like in the context of real ink illustration in a tattoo parlor. When curating my photoshop mockups, my goal was to tell the story of the tattooing: inking the concept, choosing from the tattoo reference book, choosing the placement, inking the tattoo, and the final result.
